This Seller Policy explains the rules, responsibilities, listing standards, delivery requirements, payment conditions, and marketplace obligations that apply when selling tickets through FootyPass.
1. Purpose, Scope and Seller Eligibility
This Seller Policy establishes the rules that apply to users who list or sell football tickets through the FootyPass marketplace.
1.1 Purpose of This Policy
This Policy promotes accurate listings, reliable delivery, fair marketplace conduct, and appropriate protection for buyers and sellers.
1.2 Who This Policy Applies To
This Policy applies to any user who creates, manages, or fulfils a ticket listing through FootyPass.
1.3 Seller Eligibility
A seller must satisfy applicable FootyPass account, age, verification, and marketplace requirements before using seller features.
1.4 Compliance With Law
Sellers are responsible for complying with laws, regulations, ticket conditions, and other requirements applicable to their resale activity.
1.5 Other FootyPass Policies
Sellers must also comply with the FootyPass Terms and Conditions, Buyer Protection, Refund Policy, AML Policy, and other policies relevant to their activity.
2. Seller Accounts and Verification
FootyPass may require sellers to provide accurate account information and complete appropriate verification before listing tickets, receiving earnings, or requesting payouts.
2.1 Accurate Account Information
Seller account information must be accurate, current, and associated with the person or entity legitimately using the account.
2.2 Identity Verification
FootyPass may request identity or other verification information where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, marketplace integrity, payouts, or applicable requirements.
2.3 Additional Verification
Additional checks may be required where seller activity changes, information cannot be verified, or elevated risk indicators are identified.
2.4 Account Security
Sellers are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect access to their FootyPass accounts and authentication credentials.
2.5 One Seller Identity
A seller must not create or control multiple accounts for the purpose of avoiding restrictions, verification requirements, fees, limits, or enforcement action.
2.6 False Information
Providing forged, stolen, materially misleading, or fraudulent verification information may result in listing restrictions, payout holds, account suspension, or other appropriate action.
3. Ticket Ownership and Eligibility
A seller may list only tickets they are legitimately entitled to offer and reasonably expect to be able to deliver if the listing is purchased.
3.1 Right to Sell
Sellers must have the legal right or other legitimate authority required to offer a ticket through FootyPass.
3.2 Proof of Ownership
FootyPass may request purchase confirmations, receipts, ticket records, transfer information, or other reasonable evidence relating to a listed ticket.
3.3 No Fraudulent Tickets
Counterfeit, fabricated, stolen, duplicated, unlawfully obtained, or otherwise fraudulent tickets must not be listed.
3.4 No Duplicate Sale
A ticket must not remain available on FootyPass if it has already been sold or otherwise committed in a manner that prevents the FootyPass seller from fulfilling an order.
3.5 Future Ticket Release
Where an original issuer has not yet released a ticket, the seller must have a genuine entitlement to receive it and a reasonable basis for expecting to fulfil any FootyPass order.
3.6 Restricted Tickets
Sellers must not list tickets where resale is prohibited or unlawful in circumstances applicable to the ticket, seller, event, or transaction.
4. Listing Accuracy and Required Information
Ticket listings must provide accurate and sufficiently complete information so buyers can understand what is being offered and make an informed purchasing decision.
4.1 Correct Event
The listing must relate to the correct match or event and must not intentionally misrepresent the teams, competition, date, or venue.
4.2 Ticket Location
Where applicable and known, sellers must accurately provide required ticket-location information such as category, stand, block, section, row, or other relevant location information.
4.3 Quantity
The listed quantity must accurately reflect the number of tickets the seller is prepared and able to supply.
4.4 Restrictions
Known restrictions that materially affect the ticket or admission must be disclosed where required, including relevant restricted-view, age, accessibility, or other material limitations.
4.5 Delivery Method
Sellers must select or describe a delivery method that reasonably reflects how the ticket will actually be supplied.
4.6 Required Ticket Information
Sellers must provide face-value, ticket-identification, seat-location, seller-status, or other information where applicable law or FootyPass requires that information for the listing.
4.7 No Misleading Information
Sellers must not omit, disguise, exaggerate, or falsify material information in a way that is likely to mislead a buyer.
5. Pricing, Fees and Seller Proceeds
Sellers must comply with FootyPass pricing requirements and applicable law when setting ticket prices and receiving proceeds from marketplace sales.
5.1 Seller Price
Where FootyPass permits sellers to choose a listing price, the seller is responsible for ensuring that price complies with applicable legal and marketplace restrictions.
5.2 Price Transparency
Required pricing information should be accurate and must not be presented in a false, deceptive, or materially misleading manner.
5.3 Applicable Price Restrictions
FootyPass may restrict or adjust permitted listing prices where necessary to comply with applicable ticket-resale law or marketplace requirements.
5.4 Platform Fees
Applicable FootyPass fees, commissions, or deductions will be determined according to the seller terms or information presented through the platform.
5.5 Seller Proceeds
The amount ultimately credited to a seller may reflect the sale price, applicable fees, refunds, reversals, adjustments, or other authorised deductions.
5.6 No Fee Avoidance
Sellers must not attempt to move an agreed FootyPass transaction off-platform for the purpose of avoiding fees, marketplace controls, or buyer protections.
6. Managing Listings and Availability
Sellers are responsible for keeping their FootyPass listings accurate and available only while they remain able to fulfil a resulting order.
6.1 Keeping Listings Current
Sellers should update listing information where a material detail changes before the ticket is sold.
6.2 Ticket Availability
A ticket must not remain listed as available where the seller is no longer able or entitled to supply it.
6.3 Listings on Other Platforms
Where the same ticket is offered elsewhere, the seller remains responsible for preventing a duplicate sale and promptly removing unavailable inventory.
6.4 Withdrawing a Listing
A seller may withdraw an unsold listing where FootyPass permits withdrawal and no binding order or other restriction prevents it.
6.5 Sold Listings
Once a ticket has been sold through FootyPass, the seller must not sell, transfer, cancel, or otherwise dispose of the ticket in a way that prevents fulfilment of the FootyPass order.
6.6 FootyPass Listing Action
FootyPass may hide, restrict, reject, or remove a listing where information is incomplete, inaccurate, suspicious, prohibited, or inconsistent with marketplace requirements.
7. Sales, Cancellations and Seller Obligations
When a qualifying ticket is sold through FootyPass, the seller becomes responsible for fulfilling the order in accordance with the listing and applicable marketplace requirements.
7.1 Binding Sale
Once an order is validly created and confirmed under FootyPass processes, the seller must take the required steps to fulfil it.
7.2 Seller Change of Mind
A seller should not cancel a completed sale merely because they change their mind, find another buyer, or later believe they could obtain a higher price.
7.3 Unable to Fulfil
A seller who becomes unable to provide the ticket should notify FootyPass promptly rather than allowing the delivery deadline to expire without explanation.
7.4 Unauthorised Cancellation
Unjustified seller cancellation may affect seller proceeds, account standing, marketplace access, or other rights under applicable FootyPass policies.
7.5 Buyer Communication
Where communication is required for fulfilment, sellers must communicate honestly and must not use buyer information for unrelated purposes.
7.6 FootyPass Instructions
Sellers must reasonably cooperate with legitimate fulfilment, verification, dispute, refund, or support instructions relating to their orders.
8. Ticket Delivery and Fulfilment
Sellers must deliver sold tickets using the applicable delivery method and within the timeframe reasonably required for the buyer to receive and use them.
8.1 Delivery Method
The seller must use the delivery method agreed through the listing or another method approved through FootyPass where appropriate.
8.2 Delivery Deadline
Tickets must be supplied within any applicable FootyPass deadline and sufficiently in advance of the event where required by the order.
8.3 Delayed Original Release
If the original ticket issuer has not yet released a ticket, the seller should provide accurate information and deliver promptly once the ticket becomes available.
8.4 Correct Ticket
The ticket delivered must materially correspond with the ticket purchased, subject to any substitution expressly permitted or accepted under applicable FootyPass rules.
8.5 Proof of Delivery
FootyPass may request transfer confirmations, emails, screenshots, delivery records, ticket records, or other reasonable evidence showing that fulfilment occurred.
8.6 Delivery Problems
Sellers should notify FootyPass promptly if a transfer fails, ticket becomes inaccessible, recipient information appears incorrect, or another issue may prevent delivery.
8.7 No Reuse or Cancellation
After delivery, a seller must not reuse, duplicate, improperly cancel, invalidate, or otherwise interfere with the buyer use of a sold ticket.
9. Seller Earnings, Wallet and Payouts
Proceeds from eligible completed sales may be recorded in the FootyPass seller wallet and become available for payout in accordance with applicable release, risk, and payout requirements.
9.1 Pending Earnings
Seller proceeds may remain pending after a sale while applicable delivery, event, buyer-protection, fraud, or release conditions remain outstanding.
9.2 Available Balance
Eligible earnings may move to an available balance once the applicable release requirements have been satisfied.
9.3 Payout Requests
Sellers may request payout of eligible available funds using payout functionality provided by FootyPass.
9.4 Payout Verification
FootyPass or its payment providers may require verification before a payout can be processed.
9.5 Payout Holds
A payout may be delayed or restricted where reasonably necessary because of a dispute, refund, suspected fraud, account-security concern, legal requirement, or other qualifying risk.
9.6 Adjustments and Reversals
Seller balances may be adjusted where authorised to reflect refunds, transaction reversals, corrections, fees, buyer remedies, or other amounts properly associated with the seller.
9.7 Payout Records
FootyPass may retain records of seller earnings, wallet entries, payout requests, completed payouts, cancellations, holds, and adjustments.
10. Refunds, Disputes and Buyer Protection Claims
Sellers must cooperate with reasonable investigations concerning non-delivery, invalid tickets, failed entry, materially inaccurate listings, refunds, and other Buyer Protection claims.
10.1 Seller Evidence
FootyPass may request ticket records, purchase evidence, delivery confirmations, communications, or other relevant information when investigating a claim.
10.2 Buyer Claims
A seller may be given an opportunity to provide relevant information concerning a buyer complaint or Buyer Protection claim.
10.3 Refunds
Where an eligible buyer refund is required, FootyPass may withhold, reverse, deduct, or recover associated seller proceeds where permitted by applicable terms and law.
10.4 Failed Entry
Where a buyer reports refusal of entry because of an allegedly invalid ticket, the seller must reasonably cooperate with the investigation and provide requested ticket evidence.
10.5 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
FootyPass may consider relevant payment disputes or chargebacks when determining whether seller funds should remain pending or whether additional information is required.
10.6 Fraudulent Claims or Evidence
Sellers must not fabricate evidence, conceal material facts, manipulate ticket records, or otherwise attempt to improperly defeat a legitimate buyer claim.
11. Prohibited Conduct and Enforcement
FootyPass may take appropriate marketplace action where a seller engages in fraud, serious misconduct, repeated fulfilment failures, or other violations of FootyPass policies.
11.1 Fraudulent Tickets
Sellers must not list or deliver counterfeit, stolen, duplicated, fabricated, cancelled, or otherwise fraudulent tickets.
11.2 Manipulation
Sellers must not manipulate listings, accounts, reviews, transactions, payment processes, or marketplace features to obtain an improper advantage.
11.3 Circumventing FootyPass
Sellers must not improperly direct FootyPass buyers off-platform to avoid fees, safeguards, payment controls, or marketplace requirements.
11.4 Abusive Conduct
Threatening, abusive, discriminatory, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate conduct toward buyers, FootyPass personnel, or other users may result in enforcement action.
11.5 Listing Restrictions
FootyPass may reject, remove, hide, or restrict seller listings where appropriate to protect users or enforce marketplace requirements.
11.6 Account Action
Serious or repeated violations may result in warnings, feature restrictions, account suspension, or account termination where permitted.
11.7 Financial and Legal Action
Where appropriate and lawful, FootyPass may withhold eligible funds, recover amounts owed, preserve evidence, cooperate with payment providers or authorities, or take other reasonable action relating to serious misconduct or fraud.
12. Policy Updates and Seller Support
FootyPass may update this Seller Policy as marketplace functionality, ticketing practices, payment arrangements, risks, or applicable legal requirements develop.
12.1 Policy Updates
This Policy may be revised to reflect new seller features, marketplace controls, payment arrangements, fraud risks, or applicable requirements.
12.2 Material Changes
Where appropriate, significant changes may be communicated through FootyPass or another suitable method.
12.3 Existing Transactions
Policy changes will not retrospectively remove rights that cannot lawfully be changed in relation to an existing transaction.
12.4 Seller Support
Sellers requiring assistance with listings, ticket delivery, wallet activity, payouts, or disputes may contact FootyPass using the available support methods.
12.5 Seller Responsibility
Sellers are responsible for reviewing applicable FootyPass policies and complying with the version in effect when carrying out relevant marketplace activity.
